ABOUT BOAR

BOAR (Biomedical Ontologies Arkansas) strives to bring the advantages of semantic web technologies to biomedical data and their management. Under the leadership of Dr. Mathias Brochhausen and Dr. Jonathan Bona, the group aims to improve the gathering, managing, transforming and sharing of biomedical data. Biomedical Ontologies are crucial for integrating and interpreting biomedical data. Our aim is to facilitate the usage of clinical and biomedical data to improve healthcare for the individual patient and the entire population.
